Sensory Friendly Shopping Hour at Swords Pavilions Every Tuesday | 9:30am – 10:30am

We are proud to offer a Sensory Friendly Hour every Tuesday from 9:30am to 10:30am throughout Swords Pavilions Shopping Centre

This dedicated hour is designed to create a calmer, more accessible shopping environment for autistic customers, customers with sensory sensitivities, and anyone who may benefit from a quieter experience. During this time, additional support is available from our team to ensure a safe and inclusive visit.

What to Expect During Sensory Friendly Hour:

• Reduced noise throughout the Centre

• Reduced lighting where possible*

• No in-Centre announcements

• Additional assistance available from Centre staff

• Assistance dogs are always welcome

*Please note: Not all stores are able to adjust lighting. For more details, please check the individual store page or contact them directly.

To help you prepare for your visit, we offer:

• A Sensory Map to highlight areas of high sensory input within the Centre

• Access to a dedicated Sensory Room, open during all Centre hours. To make things easier, you can fill out a short Application form at the Information Desk or print it in advance and bring it with you. This form along with the Terms & Conditions can be found at the bottom of the page, by pressing the "download" button.

If you'd like support while visiting, you can show this message to a member of staff:

'I am Autistic and I need assistance. I may be experiencing sensory overload or feeling overwhelmed. Please be patient and understanding in assisting me with the help that I need.”
